Limited North America run also includes new music from forthcoming seventh album
The three brothers that make up Hanson are hitting the road at the end of November for their Wintry Mix Tour across North America. Hanson will perform a mix of Christmas and holiday classics, fan favorites and preview new material from the band’s forthcoming seventh studio album, set for release in 2020.
“This is an exciting time for the band, with new music around the corner and more than 25-years of music behind us,” said Taylor Hanson in a statement, while Zac Hanson added “this tour is a collision of worlds with Christmas classics and a taste of brand new music, making for an uncommon but awesome mix”.
The tour will feature southern pop craftsman Paul McDonald as a musical guest along with Joshua and the Holy Rollers, lead by the youngest Hanson brother Mac Hanson.
Last year Hanson released “String Theory” with featured the band performing alongside some of the world’s most accomplished symphonies, and to sold-out crowds around the globe, from Sydney Opera House to London’s Royal Festival Hall and Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville.
The band’s Hanson.net members will get first crack at tickets for the Wintry Mix tour tomorrow (Sept. 14), while the remainder of tickets go on sale beginning Sept 20. To buy tickets and see a complete list of dates, click here.
