Unapproved projects from SZA and Beyoncé appear online

SZA‘s “new” body of work Comethru appeared on Spotify under the name Sister Solana, which SZA later clarified on Instagram as “random scratches from 2015. Def not new new!”

The Comethru album uploaded last night even revealed two Kendrick Lamar features called “Lack of Better Words” and “Loved Ones”, with the rapper appearing under a slightly different name King Kenny.

Although there’s no news on how the album appeared on streaming services, it’s also even more mysterious that SZA wasn’t the only one to have her unreleased project leaked.

We know Beyoncé is partial to the odd surprise album drop, like 2016’s Lemonade, but she was also a victim of the leaked music, with two albums appearing online under the name Queen Carter, Have Your Way, and Back Up, Rewind.

Punchino, Top Dawg Entertainment’s President, took to Twitter to confirm, “There is no new SZA album out. Old songs were stolen and leaked. We are currently fixing the issue. Please feel free to continue enjoying Ctrl until the next album is ready.”

When the leaks were discovered online, they soon disappeared from streaming services.
