Meghan Trainor, John Oliver, Rachel Brosnahan & Mumford and Sons Sing ‘Since U Been Gone’: Watch

If you’ve ever tried it at a karaoke bar, you know Kelly Clarkson‘s “Since U Been Gone” is pretty hard to sing. Like, really hard. But that didn’t stop some major celebs from giving it a shot on The Tonight Show on Monday night (Jan. 7). As part of the show’s Turn It Up challenge, Clarkson laid down the gauntlet by kicking off the 2004 tune as a lead-in to former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal just flat-out butchering the tune while adding a totally unnecessary lip lick.

Host Jimmy Fallon didn’t fare much better, though Golden Globe-winning The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star Rachel Brosnahan proved she had some chops. The MVP award definitely goes to Meghan Trainor, who just nailed it, with honorable mentions to John Oliver and Anthony Anderson for their killer screams and Mumford and Sons and The Roots for just being good sports.
