The surprises continue at 2019 CMA Fest. Today (June 9), Spotify announces their final addition to the Spotify House concert series.
Lady Antebellum will serve as a surprise guest this afternoon, when Spotify takes over Blake Shelton’s Ole Red bar on Music City’s Lower Broadway, Billboard can exclusively reveal. The country trio are scheduled to take the Spotify stage at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
This year, the country music festival has boasted countless acts and surprise sets. On Thursday night (June 6), Brooks & Dunn surprised the festival crowd at Nissan Stadium when they joined Brothers Osborne for a collaboration of “Hard Workin’ Man” and Ashley McBryde joined in for “You’re Gonna Miss Me When I’m Gone.” Kelsea Ballerini also brought out the Chainsmokers for “This Feeling” while Florida Georgia Line were joined by HARDY for “Y’all Boys.”
CMA Fest runs in Nashville from June 6-9. Spotify’s event at Ole Red has included daily performances from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. by Brantley Gilbert, Chris Young, Hunter Hayes, Lauren Alaina, Midland and Old Dominion. All shows are open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
