“Boy With Luv” debuts at No. 5 on Streaming Songs with 29.9 million streams.
BTS didn’t just earn its best debut and highest rank on the Billboard Hot 100 with the Halsey-featuring “Boy With Luv” — the song also marks the South Korean pop group’s highest peak yet on Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart, entering at No. 5 on the April 27-dated list.
“Boy With Luv” bows with 29.9 million streams earned in the week ending April 18 in the U.S., according to Nielsen Music.
Its No. 5 start exceeds the debut and peak of “Fake Love,” which entered at No. 7 on the June 2, 2018-dated ranking.
The track also nets BTS its biggest single-week stream count for a song in the U.S.; its amount of 29.9 million again bests “Fake Love,” which started with 27.4 million clicks. (“Idol,” featuring Nicki Minaj, sits third with 24.4 million toward the Sept. 8, 2018-dated tally.)
“Boy With Luv” enters the On-Demand Streaming Songs list, which tracks on-demand audio streams, at No. 16, netting 10.5 million on-demand audio streams. BTS’ best, “Fake Love,” debuted at No. 9 in June 2018 (12.7 million).
