Belfast’s Peace Evan deliver starry-eyed alt-rock on debut single “War on Harmony”

Counting the likes of Modest Mouse and Broken Social Scene among their main influences, Northern Irish foursome Peace Evan have spent the last few months emerging as one of the country’s most promising live propositions.

Fronted by Gnarkats’ member Louis Nelson, the band’s debut single “War on Harmony” doubles up as an assured and earworming first move. Across four minutes, it marries slick crescendos with starry-eyed guitar shapes and Nelson’s emphatic refrains.

“War on Harmony” is released today. Find Peace Evan on Facebook.
